Directions
For Cookies: First, preheat your oven to 350 F. In a big bowl, start by mixing your dry ingredients together: 2 cups of flour with ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp baking soda, and ½ tsp of salt. Once mixed, set aside. Next, combine and mix your wet ingredients: ½ cup slightly melted butter, ½ cup TRF Pumpkin Butter, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Slowly combine wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Knead together with your hands until a dough like consistency forms. Next, start to roll out 2 inch cookies and place them on a greased cookie tray about 2 inches apart from each other. Cook for 12 mins at 350 F and let cool before adding icing.
For Icing: Start by mixing dry ingredients together: 3 cups powdered sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon, and ½ tsp nutmeg. Next add wet ingredients right into the dry ingredients, starting with ½ cup of TRF Pumpkin Butter, ½ tsp vanilla, and 4 tbsps of melted butter. Mix with whisk until smooth consistency.
TIP: if your icing is too runny, add more powdered sugar, if it is too thick, add more melted butter!
