    Satisfying Appetizers For Your Football Viewing Party

    These recipes were curated to make this game day menu a filling one. Warn the crowd to arrive with an empty stomach - these game day apps are guaranteed to impress, satisfy, and delight!

    1) Air Fried Onion Blossom With Onion Blossom Horseradish Dip
    Ingredients:
    1 medium yellow onion
    Terrapin Ridge Farms Onion Blossom Horseradish Dip
    1-3 eggs for egg wash

    Seasoning for flour:
    1 cup of flour 
    1 teaspoon garlic powder 
    1 teaspoon onion powder 
    1 teaspoon smoked paprika 
    1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning 
    1 teaspoon salt 
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder 
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper 

    Directions:
    Peel a medium yellow onion, cut the top off the side without the root and then begin to slice down and around the onion every half inch or so. Once you flip it over you may need to separate a few of the onion slices but it should look like a flower. Coat the onion in an egg wash and then with seasoned flour and repeat the process.  

    Air Fryer Directions:
    Place the onion into your air fryer at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes stopping every 5-6 minutes to spray with cooking oil. Remove when golden brown and cooked through and serve with Terrapin Ridge Farms Onion blossom and horseradish dip. 

     

    2) Hot Pepper Bacon Jam Pinwheels
    Ingredients
    Tortilla Rolls
    Cream Cheese
    Hot Pepper Bacon Jam

    Directions
    Assembly only recipe.
    Lay out 3 - 6 soft tortillas, depending on how many you are serving. Spread cream cheese on the tortilla and then add about a tbsp of Hot Pepper Bacon Jam. Spread a layer of Hot Pepper Bacon Jam on top of the cream cheese. Roll the tortilla up and slice into 1 inch thick pinwheels. Serve with toothpicks. Enjoy!

    3) Hot Truffle Garlic Wings
    Ingredients
    Wings
    Terrapin Ridge Farms Truffle Hot Sauce
    Minced Garlic
    Italian Seasoning
    Chopped Parsley
    Butter
    Oil
    Poultry Seasoning
    Cornstarch
    *all seasoning is optional

    Directions
    Season wings and smoke or grill them until they reach an internal temp of 165 degrees. On medium low heat, add the following to a pan to make your sauce: 3/4 stick of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of Italian season, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons of truffle hot sauce. Toss wings with the sauce and garnish with fresh parsley and more parmesan cheese.


    4) Spicy Chipotle Breakfast Shots
    Ingredients
    Terrapin Ridge Farms Spicy Chipotle Squeeze
    Bacon
    Smoked Sausage
    Eggs
    Salt and Pepper
    Shredded Cheddar Cheese

    Directions
    Wrap thick cut bacon around sliced kielbasa and place them in your air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes

    Next mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Fill each shot glass with the egg and cheese mixture and place back into the air fryer at 400 for another 5 minutes. Top each pig shot with spicy chipotle sauce. This adds delicious flavor and also gives the appearance of a mini fried egg. Enjoy!


    5) Hot Habanero Bacon Jam Glazed Pork Nachos
    Ingredients
    Makes about 4 servings
    One jar of Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Habanero Bacon Jam
    1 pound of pulled pork
    16 oz of corn tortilla chips
    Half pound shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    Half pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    4 tablespoons thinly sliced scallions
    Thinly sliced serrano chiles for garnish

     Directions
    Add 6 ounces of Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Habanero Bacon Jam to 1 pound of pulled pork, mix well. Set aside.

    In a small bowl, mix Monterey Jack cheese and sharp cheddar cheese.

    In a shallow baking dish add 2 ounces of corn tortilla chips. Sprinkle about 2 ounces of your cheese mix on top of tortilla chips. Place around 2 ounces of pulled pork on top of cheese tortilla chips. Repeat process. Place in a 350° oven and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly golden brown. In a microwave safe container heat 2 tablespoons of jam for about 25 seconds. Remove chips from oven sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of thinly sliced scallions garnish with serrano chilies. Pour the Hot Habanero Bacon Jam over with chips. Serve with guacamole or sour cream.
