Ingredients
24 precooked chicken wings (drumettes or your preferred type)
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) salted butter
-
1 jar (approximately 12 oz) Terrapin Ridge Farms Thai Chili Guava Jam
Additional Thai Chili Guava Jam for serving
*optional – carrot sticks and pineapple slices pair well with the sweet heat.
Directions
Prepare the Sauce:
In a microwave-safe bowl, place the 1 1/2 sticks of salted butter.
Microwave for 30-45 seconds, or until the butter is partially melted.
Add the entire jar of Thai Chili Jam to the bowl.
Microwave for an additional 15 seconds, or until the butter is fully melted and the jam is softened.
Remove the bowl from the microwave and thoroughly stir the butter and jam together until well combined.
Coat the Wings:
Place the precooked wings in a large bowl.
Pour approximately 3/4 of the Thai Chili Jam mixture over the wings.
Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the sauce.
Bake the Wings:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lay the coated wings in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a casserole dish.
Bake the wings for 20 minutes, or until they are heated through.
Broil for Golden Brown:
Remove the wings from the oven.
Pour the remaining Thai Chili Guava Jam mixture over the wings.
Place the wings under a low broiler for approximately 3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and slightly caramelized. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning. Flip and broil another few minutes if you like your wings a bit crispy.
Remove the wings from the broiler.
Serve:
Serve the Sweet & Spicy Thai Chili Guava Wings immediately.
