Ingredients
1 ½ pounds ground pork
¼ cup fresh cilantro – leaves and stems, finely chopped
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
3 teaspoons lime zest
2 tablespoons fish sauce
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon black pepper
Metal skewers or soaked bamboo skewers
-
1 jar Terrapin Ridge Farms Thai Chile Guava Jam
Directions
Combine all ingredients except for the guava jam into a mixing bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for one hour.
Form pork mixture into 10-12 sausage-shaped patties and thread onto skewers. If you’re using longer metal skewers, you should be able to thread two on each skewer.
Preheat outdoor grill or a grill pan to medium heat. Lightly oil the grate.
Grill the skewers for about 12-15 minutes, or until browned on all sides and internal temp reads 145 degrees on an instant-read thermometer.
Remove from the grill and serve with Thai Chile Guava Jam and a side of jasmine rice and stir-fried vegetables.
