Ingredients
2 - 5oz cans of tuna in olive oil
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
salt & pepper to taste
8-10 butter lettuce leaves, rinsed and dried
-
1 tablespoon Terrapin Ridge Farms Ginger Yuzu Aioli Squeeze - for drizzling
Directions
Open and drain the cans of tuna packed in olive oil, then place the tuna in a medium mixing bowl. Use a fork to gently break apart any large chunks.
Stir in the mayonnaise, sesame oil, Dijon mustard, and fresh lemon juice. Mix until the tuna is well coated and the mixture is creamy but still textured.
Fold in the finely chopped celery for a refreshing crunch. Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
Rinse and pat dry the butter lettuce leaves. For sturdier wraps, layer two leaves together. Spoon about 1 heaping tablespoon of the tuna mixture into the center of each lettuce "cup."
Just before serving, drizzle each wrap with Terrapin Ridge Farms Ginger Yuzu Aioli Squeeze to add a bright, citrusy punch that complements the tuna beautifully.
Serve immediately and enjoy as a light lunch, appetizer, or elegant party bite. Eat with your hands and savor every bite!
